- Managed full event lifecycle: developed roadmap, timelines, and coordinated logistics for performances, giveaways, and on-stage club participation.
- Secured funding, sponsorships, and in-kind donations to support event needs, ensuring budget adherence and operational efficiency.
- Adapted event logistics in response to weather challenges, successfully relocating the outdoor carnival indoors without impacting attendee experience.
- Designed engagement strategies, including branded merchandise and club participation, to promote Caribbean cultural awareness across the campus community.
Caribbean Cultural Showcase - Soca on di Road
We brought the spirit of the Caribbean to campus with a vibrant celebration of music, dance, fashion, and cuisine. This event united student organizations from across the Greater Boston area, including Vitacoco, Socaholics, and numerous college clubs, creating an inclusive, campus-wide experience. Even when unexpected weather required moving the carnival indoors, the event maintained its energy, showcasing Caribbean culture and fostering community connection in a dynamic, memorable way.
